Sometimes it’s necessary to pause a WooCommerce store or a WordPress website temporarily for a variety of reasons – for example, to perform maintenance on the site, due to high volume of orders or to put the site into holiday mode. This plugin allows anyone with access to the back-end of the website (non-customers) to quickly and easily pause the store or website with the click of the link at the top of the admin bar as shown in the screenshot below. Once the store is deactivated, users are redirected to the landing page of your choice according to the URL slug that is entered in settings. In addition, customers are unable to place an order or access a direct link to the site since they are redirected to the landing page.
Benefits of the Easy Maintenance Mode Plugin:
• Easy to use – simply click ‘Deactivate Store’ on the top admin bar to pause the site and ‘Activate Store’ to reactivate the website.
• Customize your Maintenance Mode landing page using your theme’s template with whatever content you would like.
• Direct links are not accessible and the user is redirected to the landing page so orders cannot be placed while in Maintenance Mode.
